【Cultivating Empowerment & Compassion An Embodied GYROTONIC® & Nonviolent Communication Retreat】 A retreat for movement faciliators exploring empowerment, compassion, and Power-With leadership through embodied connection with self & others surrounded by nature Join Specialized First Generation Master Trainer, Nora Heiber — for a three-day retreat designed to deepen your practice, expand your teaching, and strengthen community integrating the GYROTONIC Expansion System® with the principals of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). This immersive experience offers a rare opportunity for GYROTONIC® trainers to learn, practice, and co-create together in a beautiful, nourishing environment. ➜ What to Expect: • Nonviolent Communication Training: A 4-hour introductory session on Thursday to lay the foundation, with NVC principles woven throughout the retreat. • Daily 3-Hour Morning Classes: Nora will guide themed GYROKINESIS® sessions designed to strengthen your body, expand your teaching skills, and integrate communication awareness. • Peer Teaching & Feedback: Trainers will have the chance to teach one another, share offerings, and receive constructive, compassionate feedback. • NVC Conversations at Lunch: Guided discussions that connect movement with life-affirming communication. • Afternoon small group sessions to practice deep listening and empathy. • Evening Gatherings: Shared meals, open discussions, and embodied movement explorations. • Nourishment: Delicious, nutrient-dense, locally sourced organic meals. • Nature & Community: Time to connect, walk the land, and recharge on 20 acres in the Sierra Foothills. ➜ Retreat Schedule (Sample) : (Thursday) 2:00–6:00 pm | Arrival & Check-in 2:30–6:30 pm | Introduction to Nonviolent Communication (4 hours) 7:00 pm | Welcome Dinner (Friday & Saturday) 8:30–11:30 am | Morning GYROKINESIS® Class with Nora (themed) 12:00 pm | Lunch + Guided NVC Conversation 1:30–3:00 pm | Small Group Empathy Practice 3:30–5:30 pm | Peer Teaching & Shared Offerings 7:00 pm | Dinner 8:00 pm | Evening Movement & Group Discussion (Sunday) 8:30–11:30 am | Closing GYROKINESIS® Class with Nora 12:00 pm | Closing Lunch & Farewell 2:00 pm | Departures

Sliding Scale: $850 - $1350 (including meals). Onsite accommodations range $50-125 per person/night. While I make my request for support known, it is important to me that these services be accessible to all, to the extent possible. I would like to consider whatever amount you are able to contribute without risking your well-being, If after reflecting on your own financial capacity in the context of our shared need for sustainability, you find that you do not have the resources to offer the suggested amount, please reach out to discuss what is possible. If you find that you have the resources to contribute beyond the suggested offering range, your support will help cover the time, dedication and skills that go into creating and holding this space—and it will also help make this forum available to others who might not be in a position to contribute right now.
